How cute are my cozy little angels?
As you've witnessed, I love my sweet boys in jammies...
but there is really nothing cuter than COZY footed, fleecy PJs in the winter!
My dad came over this evening and mounted the flat screen on the wall in the playroom
so that we could take a chest out (that it was sitting on top of) to make more room to play.
It made all the difference in the world... Since we've been on house arrest letting our boys get well,
we've done a lot of cleaning, tossing out, reorganizing and streamlining of all of our stuff
to make way for Christmas! To say we are blessed is an understatement.
Thanks for all of the sweet comments about our Rudolph cookies.
Again, I found the idea in the back of Parents magazine this month.
As for a recipe, ha, it's beyond easy. In the magazine they made them with peanut butter cookies.
Carson isn't allowed to take anything with peanuts to school and I'm not a huge fan
of peanut butter cookies, so we made our with gingerbread to get the same color effect.
Okay, so the "recipe"-- just choose your cookie dough, make circles and bake.
For the antlers, we used chocolate covered pretzels, Flipz.
Make them stick to the cookie with a dab of chocolate icing.
For the eyes- apply a tiny dot of white icing and then a mini chocolate chip.
And lastly, a mini red M&M "glued" with a dab of chocolate icing.
Easy, easy and super cute.

I mentioned earlier in the month that I'd unexpectedly begun a tradition
of buying a yummy candle each month... this month we've been loving the K.Hall Milk candle!
I light it usually early evening so the house smells yummy when KT gets home.
If you'd like to join me in this little tradition, I'll be posting about our December candle of the month
on the 1st... if you want to pick one up, I'll include a link and you can post about
what's burning in your house during the holidays. Maybe we'll find something yummy for January!
Last but not least Christmas has come to our casa... the tree is up and nearly completely decorated.
I'm planning on making some peace sign ornaments this week-- I love these from Pottery Barn,
but for the amount I want, it would cost a fortune to buy one for $6.00 a piece.
Fear not, I found this trusty little tutorial, picked up the most gorgeous Martha Stewart glitter
from Michael's and as soon as I have a free evening, I'll whip them up!
Hope you had a wonderful weekend.
Who can believe it's DECEMBER this week?! Unbelievable how time flies.
I'd love it if you'd join us for the candle of the month.
I can't wait to share mine with you, it's THE PERFECT Christmas candle.
