Our house isn't always hot cocoa and cozy memories...
but lately, we've been full of Christmas cheer and making the most of the season!
Carson talked his JiJi into taking him to Target yesterday for... more cars.
He likes to line up his transportation, whether big or small, and pretend they are in a parking garage.
He's very methodical and particular about his cars, trucks, tractors, trains, and planes.
Behold... on the ninth day of December, the Super Sweet T Boys opened their Advent Calendar.
As evidenced in this photo, a "kiss" from big brother can often resemble a love bite with a firm grip on your temple. Oh sweet brotherly love...
Slade is rarely phased by it... he's more focused on feeding.
Taunting. Look who got the chocolate! Mwwwhahahaha!
Slade... oh NOT so fast! I'm coming for more... forget that mom says we can't have more than one per day!
GOT IT! Chocolate be mine....
Uh oh. There she is! Act cute and innocent.
Last night we also wrote letters to Santa. I ordered the most precious letters from Chickabug designs.
I adore them. They came in a four pack so I'll be able to use the other two for Christmas next year.
Carson was loving it... and thought long and hard about what he wanted to write on his list.
My proud little angel with his letter to Santa... only the son of KT would want "chicken" for Christmas.
We can't forget this chubby bundle of Christmas love... he's got some wants and needs too!
They were somewhat over picture taking at this point. Can you tell from Carson's less than cheerful grin and Slade's decision to eat his letter rather than have it photographed.
yep... this isn't getting much better!
And to all a good night....
... and because I'm pretty sure these should have hit most mailboxes by now,
behold the Tichenor Family Christmas Card circa 2010.
I really don't *love* it but it'll have to do.
happy friday friends. we're headed to see jolly old st. nick tonight!
P.S. Kristen & Allison... I am getting worse and worse at screen printing. How does one actually get less talented with practice? I have a long list of failures under my belt and I'm afraid I might have to sell my car in order to afford the materials to correct my continual screen printing mistakes. {I almost always expose too little or too long and end up with an unclear image that won't rinse away} HELP!

That is SO CUTE! Can I just tell you that your kiddos are precious. Their matching pjs and letters to Santa are adorable.
ReplyDeleteOMG. Slade's chunky chin just kills me! I love it!
ReplyDeleteAnd did Carson really ask for chicken? haha
but they always look so PERFECT!!! i would never know you werent a professional! allison has the machine that helps her expose under a light that is always, like, 12 minutes. You could def invest in one of those and then you always know how long to do it and it always works. I still use the sun and def have my ups and downs. i am SO not a perfectionist and so not that good at screen printing. we just only put up the good pics :)
ReplyDeleteAww, your card is great. You look so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteugh! I just hate that for you! It can be so frustrating sometimes and I have had those moments where I get worse with time. What is your light source that you are using? The hardest part is knowing just the perfect amount of exposure time. I bought a light source online that is set up to where each screen is exposed at the same height and what not so I do 10 minutes every time. I hope it gets easier! And everything that I have seen you make so far is AMAZING and perfect! I LOVE all your shirts!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the letters to Santa! I'm going to get them for my little one. Hopefully its not too late. Your boys looked like them enjoyed them.
ReplyDeleteI hope the screen printing thing works out. I really liked the thanksgiving ones you did and was looking foward to the christmas ones. Keep trying... practice makes perfect!
Adorable pictures as always! I so wish that I could come to the blogger get together (Sam would have loved the kids one as well), even tho I am not much of a blogger ;) But alas I will be in Dallas. Hope you all have a fabulous time! Can't wait to see the pictures!
