i made Easter baskets!
I literally just finished the boy's Easters baskets buckets.
Carson has had a monogrammed bunny Easter basket
from Pottery Barn since before he was born.
They've had the same one up until last season.
It sold out last year before I thought to buy one for Slade
(even though he arrived long after Easter).
So, this year, I wasn't a huge fan of their selections
and knew I wanted the boy's to match.
So instead of ordering a $50 option on etsy,
or going with something that I didn't love from Pottery Barn...
I made them exactly what I wanted, and I am so glad I did.
My mom actually bought the buckets one day at Hobby Lobby, thanks JiJi.

I bought orange and white striped ribbon and ordered monogrammed decals from this etsy seller.
The finished product...
I am so stinking happy with them.
I realize that bows might be a tad girly, but I love the sweet touch.
And besides, it's Easter. My boys are 3 and 9 months old.
This is not a monster truck rally. Bows are perfect for the occasion.
I think my grand total for this project totals less than $10 per bucket.

So cute! Love the monograms and colors. Good work:)
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness these are soooo cute!!! I am very inspired and just might have to make Little C one.
ReplyDeleteLOVE these!!! Great job and so thrifty! :)
ReplyDeleteha ha ha love that you said its not a monster truck rally...so funny!
ReplyDeleteWOW!!! So impressive!! I love the blue & orange combo!!!
ReplyDeleteYou just reminded me that my youngest does not even have an Easter basket yet! We didn't give him one last year (shame on me but he was only 5 months old at the time!)
So I better get on the ball ASAP!
Thanks for the fun inspiration!
