3rd Annual Scarf Swap

Hello friends! I feel like a crazy, crazy lady suggesting that we begin the annual Scarf Swap sign ups 

considering my neck of the woods is borderline MELTING from 3-digit temperatures everyday... 

but in years past I've always done the sign ups towards the end of August, with the reveal happening in mid-to-late September. Afterall, not everyone leaves in the sweltering heat of Texas... and with football starting next weekend, I feel like scarves are just calling my name. So be it. The scarf swap is on. Maybe Mother Nature will take a hint. I can hardly believe it, but this will be the third annual Scarf Swap! You can click the 'scarf swap' topic in the right hand column to view all of the details from year's past.

The rules are simple and it should be lots of fun.

sending your partner a scarf by the date indicated in this post.

I am a wife and mother with lots on my plate and certainly understand

when "life" happens and things don't go as planned... 

if something unforeseen should come up PLEASE communicate with me 

and your partner as quickly as possible. In all of the swapping I've hosted, 

I've only had two incidences of someone just not sending anything at all. 

(fear not, I hooked them up)...

So, if you'd like to be a Scarf Swapper this year here's the dates to consider.

First, comment or email by Thursday, September 1st to be entered. 

Scarf Swap Partners will be paired and revealed on Friday, September 2nd.

You will have two weeks to shop and ship your scarf. 

All scarves should hit the mail no later than Friday, September 16th.

We will blog about the scarves we send and receive on Friday, September 23rd. 

Once paired up, you will send that lovely lady a fun (new) scarf for Fall.

With all of my swaps I've set a budget-- this time I'm going to suggest that your scarf 

be no more than $20. It can be more, it can be less... 

that is at your discretion and up to your deal-finding self!

Scarves are universal, one size fits all... so it's the perfect item to SWAP!

If your partner leaves their blog address, use that as a tool to get to know their style, 

favorite colors, or the climate of where they live... if they don't have a blog-- 

strike up a chat via email, Twitter, or Facebook to get insight into what they might like!

Maybe you'll make a new friend in the process! I hope so!
