Oh What Fun It Is To... Cook!

Hello lovelies! Today's hostess is the adorable Molly of Duchess of Fork
She's share cooking tips and fabulous recipes to indulge in over the Christmas season.
Be sure to check out her post and link up with your family favorites or tips
for cooking, baking, and serving during the holidays.

As for me, I wouldn't say that I'm an excellent cook by any means... but I do love food.
I especially love appetizers, baked goods, and meals that make my family smile.

Since Christmas Day falls on a Sunday this year, we'll have the usual hustle and bustle
of Christmas morning, combined with Church service. So, I thought I'd share two yummy recipes
I plan to try this year that will simplify prep and clean up on Christmas morning, but still give
my family a hot and delicious breakfast. I plan to pre-cut the cinnamon rolls and pre-mix
the batter/mixes for the French Toast Bake so all I'll have to do is pour and pop into the oven.

This next delight is something I have been counting down the days to make since I saw it in the
December issue of Southern Living (page 135 in case you have a copy on hand)...
one of the Runner-Ups in the Southern Living White Cake Contest: Layered Peppermint Cheesecake
It looks absolutely Heaven-sent. Perfect for Christmas dessert, right?
I can't wait to serve this on Christmas Eve. Maybe it will be the start of a new tradition...
a White Christmas Cake every year? We'll see if I can pull this one off first. Thank you all for linking up with us this week. I'm still going through your posts from Nina's link up on Entertaining yesterday. I can't wait to see what yummy recipes and cooking tips you all have in store!

I'd be so delighted if you joined the fun tomorrow as I host Oh What Fun It Is To... Create!
We'll be linking up crafts, projects, and fun ways to get creative during the holidays.
