erin condren life planner 2012-2013 link up

The time has come to show off this summer's round of Erin Condren Life Planners.
Erin and her team really listened to their customer base this past year and made so many improvements
to their already incredible product. One of the hardest parts about the Life Planner release is
CHOOSING which fabulous cover design to go with and what color options and add-on's you want.
This year I went with the Mod Morocco Cover in a custom color-way {light pink and red}.
That just so happens to be my all time favorite girly-girl color combination, one that rarely is seen around
this boy-filled home. I went with my initials and the tichenor family beneath.
It's my planner, but I spend my days planning for our family... so it seemed to fit the bill for both.
Along with my Life Planner I added on the two notepads to match my cover design,
the extra stickers for marking special dates-- loved these for Carson's sporting events/practices last year.
I could easily glance and see a green sticker and know he had soccer or tee ball practice.
I ordered some more gift labels in a fun polka dot pattern... and I ordered the new Erin Condren pens.
One of the biggest complaints I heard about with last season's planner was that the tabs would get torn
or smooshed after being toted around. Never fear! This year's Life Planner now has laminated tabs--
a feature I know most are thrilled about. I also love the wire spiral rather than the plastic one...
and even after selecting the 18-month planner over the traditional 12-month version, I still think the
Life Planner is size friendly. I don't find it to be too bulky at all. I actually like the thickness and weight!
I ordered the Instagram stickers and just LOVE them. How cute are they? I am so glad to see that
you can go back and order more and more because I know I'll blow through this first set fast.
As always, they included stickers and gift labels in the clear pouch at the back.
It's these little things that really set Erin and her team apart.
The pens hadn't come out of production when my Life Planner shipped so mine haven't arrived yet-- but I hear great things about them! I am excited to try them out.
My go-to Life Planner pens have been the Paper Mate Flair set.
I can't wait to see your Life Planners and the accessories you chose this year!

  1. Coming out of blog stalking. I love your planner! I got mine last year around October and can't decide if I want to order a new one yet or not. I can't quite justify spending the month on a new one yet.

    Yours is adorable though!

  2. I have not ordered my planner yet,but I want one sooo bad. I keep thinking it will weigh my purse down if I carried it with me all the time. How did you adjust to that?

  10. New follower here. I just had to take a peek when Nina retweeted your EC planner link up. I don't have a new one yet but I plan on getting one for 2013. I love my current so I'm sure I'll adore the updated version even more!

  11. Thanks Meredith for hosting this link up! My planner should be here later this week, but now I'm second guessing my cover choice. There are so many great custom designs out there!! I love hearing what everyone is using for their pens. I'm a blue medium ball point fan myself; I'm very much looking forward to getting the EC pens I ordered to see if I'll like them as much as I like my cheapos!

  12. I haven't ordered my new one yet, but I plan on getting the pattern you have in pink and orange because that's my newest color combo obsession! I'm glad to hear they made a few changes to the planner, and I think I need the notepads and pens too :)

  13. Did you have the 18 month planner last year? Is it any skinner this year, or still about the same? Just trying to decide if I should go with the 12 month or the 18 month (which I have right now)

  14. Great Link Up idea! I found these planners and Erin Condren last year; but I ordered my first life planner this year. I have ordered other EC products in the past and was pleased (even if things are a bit pricey...thankfully deals on flash sites can be found year round)! I placed my order after reading all your link ups! I'm excited to join the club!

  18. I still have until December on my current EC planner. It's incredibly cute and I WANT to use it, but I guess I'm in the minority in that I just can't seem to find a way to use it. The Morning, Day, and Night boxes in the weekly pages just don't seem to work for me. I've tried "Before work, During Work, After Work" and "Appointments, Work To Dos, Personal To Dos" for the boxes respectively, but both have their flaws I guess. I love that the new one has laminated tabs and month on 2 page spreads so if I figure the boxes out, I'll definitely be buying another. So how does everyone else use the morning, day and night boxes?
