The first weekend in December, Carson's school had the cutest fundraiser.
Originally it was intended to raise money for an additional playground at the school.
After the tragedy in Connecticut, the school asked permission to use the funds for added
security measures, door lock systems, security guards, etc. to further ensure the safety
and protection of our children. That makes my mama heart happy.
The fundraiser was such a great concept- we sold tickets to "Character Breakfast or Lunch."
All of the favorite Disney characters were there and there was a visit from Santa.
There was a pancake breakfast and a hamburger lunch. We, along with our crew of friends
decided to attend the Pancake Character Breakfast. It was so cute and the kids had a blast!
Slade LOVES Mickey but was NOT interested in the creepy life-size version.
