It was a GREAT day!

Yesterday was my sweet Miles's birthday in case you couldn't tell from all of my

picture-posting, tweeting and hullaballoo! I was equal parts sad and mystified that he was ONE

and overjoyed and grateful to be celebrating his first year of life. It was a simple, great day!

We had a low key day with lots of treat deliveries throughout the day from amazing friends.

Miles has no idea just how loved he is. Seriously though, my friends are so thoughtful.

By 4pm yesterday we'd had numerous drop offs of presents, treats, and goodies galore!

We ended up meeting a couple of friends last night for an impromptu dinner celebration.

Clearly, Miles is THRILLED about Mexican food on his birthday.

 All in all, I scaled back big time on Miles's birthday (we have a lunch planned with family 

for tomorrow)... but it was just the best day. So simple, no fuss, just go-with-the-flow. 

I was able to soak him up and reflect on his birth and our year together without an ounce 

of pre-party stress! And before bed, he was nothing but precious one year old smiles!

Love that boy so very much! Cannot even believe he is ONE!
