I totally missed Five on Friday this past week.
We've been BUSY, BUSY bees working on our kid's rooms, awaiting baby Sloane's arrival,
and preparing for our own little lady to arrive. So, how about Seven on Sunday for ya?
:: ONE ::
Friday night we met my parents and sisters for Mexican food at El Tiempo in a total downpour
to celebrate their 32nd wedding anniversary. My parents have taken several great trips this year
so they decided they wanted nothing more than to spend an evening with all their kiddos
and grandkids for their anniversary celebration. It was a great family night with delicious food!

My sweet Carson starts Kindergarten one week from tomorrow. It's a bittersweet time.
I think I am equally excited for him-- I know he will do great! I know he will love learning,
making friends, and going to school... BUT I am sad that time has flown by so quickly and that
from here on out, he will be in school more often than not. I saw this floating around Pinterest
the other day and loved it. I pray that his time spent outside of our home is a blessing. I pray
that Carson is able to find good friends, Godly friends, and is surrounded by wise, loving,
Christian adults who uplift and encourage him in his educational journey.
My goodness... it is so hard to let your little birds fly! So thankful for the gift of prayer.
:: THREE ::
The other night I took the boys out to run around for a little bit before Kevin got home.
It was probably 5:30-ish and REALLY hot outside. By the time Daddy pulled in the driveway
we were all melting... so I made the
pregnant executive decision to have sno-cones for dinner.
:: FOUR ::
I ordered these darling OH HAPPY DAY mugs for my sister and I from Shop Crystal Faye.
I am seriously so excited for them to arrive. She's about to have her first baby and I am
the little young lady who lived in a shoe, she had so many kids she didn't know what to do...
SO COFFEE is essential. And a happy little mug makes it even more enjoyable.
:: FIVE ::
New shoes for Fall are rolling in for the three little lads of the house. I can't handle the cuteness.
:: SIX ::
I feel like this pink and red manicure needs to happen for Blaire's arrival.
:: SEVEN ::
I am so looking forward to FALL and FOOTBALL and SOUP season. This Pioneer Woman
Potato Soup sounds divine and I think it's something my littles would love to! Need to whip some up.
Hope you all have a wonderful week.
